The larger funnel index makes the stem match the distal part of the femur better. The larger eccentricity can release the rotating center of the acetabulum better. All these will make the hip joint more stable.
The proximal part of the stem is designed in a near rectangle shape:
*The morrow cavity is not fully occupied, so as to guarantee the supply of blood to the morrow cavity. It is favorable to the in-growth of bone.
*It is of good property of anti-rotation.
The principle of fixation at the proximal part has been adopted. The 1/3 part of the stem at the distal end is polished so as to decrease the pain in the thigh caused by the stress at the stem tip.
Optimized surface coating
*The surface of the cylindrical-shape stem is first sandblasted by carborundum and then is treated with HA coating. On the 2/3 surface of the stem on the proximal part, is coated with HA with a thickness of 80~100 μm. This will guarantee the maximum strength and firm fixation between the prosthesis and HA coating, effectively preventing exfoliating of the HA coating and the too early absorption of the HA.
The taper is designed in internationally accepted standard of 5°42'30", which is self-locking.
All the packages are imported, which makes the sealing effective, safe and sound.
