Detailed Product Description
The stem is designed in a European style,with a shape of tulip. All its characteristics are in conformity with of the second-generation stem.
The stem is polished to mirror-like surface, so to decrease the the friction between the bone cement and the stem surface. As a result the debris of the UHMW-PE is decreased effectively. At the same time ,with the stem designed in the shape of double taper, two objectives are realized: the dynamic fixation of the bone cement and the strong adhesiveness between the cement mantle and the marrow cavity. The service life of the hip prosthesis is increased.
The stem is made from Co-Cr-Mo alloy, which is of high coefficient of elasticity. As a result,the elasticity of mechanics of the prosthesis is decreased, which can protect the integrity of the cement mantle.
